Uno, Dose, Three!

I've just realized how long it's been since I've posted anything. I've just been procrastinating about it.
A few things to hit up on, 1) Seattle, 2) Anna, 3) Other friends, 4) School, 5) Something I might've forgot to post on here, but I want to say anyway.

1) Seattle. Beautiful as always. I love that place more than anything. It's just so magical to me that it's rather indescribable. I saw my family of course, my sister Michelle, her husband, and my nephew, Brayden, 8, and my niece, Katelynn, who just turned 1. Katelynn is an amazingly smart 1 year old, and knows a bit of sign language so she can communicate with you. My nephew is so much like me when I was younger. But he's starting to mellow down a bit, which is great. You see, when I was younger, if someone beat me at a game, I would literally flip over the board and run into my room and pout for 10 minutes. He also, like I was, doesn't realize that everybody else isn't as intelligent as he is, which, you know, isn't exactly a great thing. He also has a very particular sense of style and is hard to shop for. But I understand his style and what he's looking for, so we took him shopping and everything that I picked out he liked. That was fun and all, but I also got to see a lot of friends this trip. The first was my lifelong friend, Maddy, whom spent the Saturday with me and my family. That was rather fun and she showed me some pretty wicked sites (http://senorgif.memebase.com/, http://thinkgeek.com)
Sunday was a really fun day; my nieces 1st birthday party! Some fun people were there, and I stole an 8 year olds hat, the cake was really cute and yummy, and my niece got one of those cars that you pedal around with your feet. Katelynn LOVED it and would rarely get out of it the whole time we were up there. She's adorable.
Me in Kaden's panda hat ^-^
Then Monday, I met up at The Golden Corral with my childhood best friend, Nichelle. It was pleasant, but her mom took up most of the talking, which wasn't boring, but wasn't what I expected persay. Just catching up for the most part.
This is me and Nichelle. (She;'s the one with the hat on)
Tuesday I spent out with my parents having dinner with a good family friend, and then playing a really fun game that I hadn't played before, although the name escapes me.
Wednesday was spent mostly at home until 6:30, then I went to mutual with my friend Maddy and was back by 9.
And Thursday I spent from 3:30-7:45 at my friend Evan's house with Maddy and some other friends (Kyle, Danielle, and Tyler). That was the most fun that I had had since.... last summer sometime. And his mom got us pizza! :D haha.

The first is me and a giant spider on my head, The second is me with an akasuki cloak on and Maddy behind me. The reason I look so weird? Well, I was going to do a signature super hero pose, and then I was yelling at Maddy right as Evan took it, so... XD The third is me eating Maddy's arm! We were at Tyler's house (which is two doors down) seeing if he could come and play! <3 :) And so, Danielle knocked on the door, and then he came out, and we were all staring at him and we're like "Come play with us...." @-@..... XD
Then the last one is when everyone else except me and Evan were gone (cause it was Evan's house ya know...) and I have a ball of aluminum foil in my mouth. My left hand's fingers look very broken XD

Friday, I was supposed to meet a friend named Beth, but my parents wouldn't let me cause I had been out too much that week. But it would've been the shortest time out of all, and they could've arranged it too. Yeah, I'm really disappointed about that, but I'll probably be able to meet her when we go back up in June. So that was the day we took Brayden shopping. Then, Michelle and Kris (her husband), went to a lock down with the youth in their church (they're the youth pastors). We stayed home of course and played monopoly. My sister won. Then a little later, I web cam chatted with Evan and Beth for the better part of an hour, and then went to bed.
Saturday was the day we were leaving, but we went to Burger King for a 4/7 (It was 2 birthdays) year olds birthday party. XD Their parents are good friends of Kris and Michelle's, and we'd gotten to know them quite a bit, so we were invited as well. Then from there we went to Seattle to catch our plane. And, yes, I wore a Burger King crown all the way home!! XD

The first is me and Katelynn, the next is Brayden, my mom, my dad, Me, Katelynn, and my sister Cora.

And this is me at home as I threaten you with my power of summoning banana's. X3

Dose, Anna. She's coming next weekend (the 18th). This is the list of things that we're going to do ^-^
1) Kill more zombies
2) Make a music video
3) Send fan mail to Smosh
4) If it's not freezing, another photo shoot
...5) Put frosting and sprinkles on toast
6) Make art out of goldfish, paper, paperclips, and glitter
7) Cover the fridge in post-its for no reason whatsoever
8) And if we go out of town, we're going to ______ and sitting down by random people
9) Ask people at the grocery store to marry us
10) Glue a quarter to the ground and see how many people pick it up
11) Do the rope prank
12) I.G.? :)
13) Tell Ghost stories
14) Wear our pirate stuff while doing it all (and our ninja stuff if we have any)
15) Convince bacon that we're awesomer than it
16) Write a new song (Pasture of Muppets?)
17) Write 'Da Rules'

Shouldn't be hard. Sounds like a normal weekend with my wife :')

I know, I know. We're a bit nutso. But we like it that way. So deal.
Oh, and here are my faves from our most recent photo shoot. ^-^

This one is now her profile picture ^-^

This one, a semi-professional photographer helped me edit.
Yeah, I plan on photoshopping a guy in this one. I think it'd be cute if I can get it right ^-^

And that's my favorite :')

Honestly? I just spent ten minutes working with this thing to get another space to type without the pictures moving. That was EXTREMELY frustrating and unnecessary and I felt like I was about to cry. Just voicing that out. Bleh.....
ANYWAY. I honestly can't remember what I was going to say when I said "Other Friends" earlier, so we're going to pretend that isn't there.
4! School. Yeah, I'm not sure why this is important either XD Well, I've been doing well.... I'm reading a book.... and fluff. Now you know. You can have your eternal salvation now. Congrats.
6! The play! Willy Wanka and the Chocolate Factory is the play, and I pretty much have an extra part, but I'm still really happy with it. Yes, I'm an Oompa Loompa. And a kid. And a cook. I've learned so much about the voice, and diction, that I'm really quite blown away. I didn't realize that there was so much too it. This is definitely the best instructor that I've ever had and I'm soo happy! :)
I made blueberry pancakes this morning. Just thought I'd let you know.
Next week, Valentines. Oh boy :P
Sorry this post is so long.
Yeah, I'm eating goldfish. Be jealous.
That's all I have to say. Now you know. K. Bye. :3

Nana nana!

Alright. So today, I pretty much ate my whole calorie intake through brownie bites. I'm not sure what it is, cause I'm usually not much of a brownie person, but I downed five every time I walked past the plate that they were on!
But beyond that... my 17 year old brother had his Eagle (scout) coronation Sunday which was pretty cool. Good company and the sort.
So, his girlfriend Amanda was there too, and she gave me a late birthday present (that she forgot to grab for my birthday party) which was an Evanescence piano/guitar book for their album Fallen. It's fun :D
Also, my best friend stayed the weekend, which was really fun of course. We didn't to anything too crazy, but we had a winter/outside photo shoot that turned out soo awesome! Lemme know if you want photos or anything.
In relatively 36 hours, I will be leaving for Seattle :D Super excited for that. But I think I'll still be able to post something up there. Faster internet connection...? Yes!
My 1st semester ends this Friday. Just another thing.
Had a spa night tonight with some friends. I thought it was pretty fun and it's always good to have a different color on your nails and the sort.
I heart my wife :D
Not to much else I believe. So, ta ta for now. :)

Of course...!

I didn't post yesterday because I wasn't finished with my post before I had to go to bed. Bleh :(

Anyway. So far, this year has been super amazing. The time spent with my nephew and sister was fabulous. Ms. MM got to come over which was pretty fun. I've newly discovered a chicken on my window? ahaha. I've made a lot of progress in school so my parents can trust me more as well. And I got to see one of my favorite people and have one of my dreams turn into a reality. :) <3
Although, I will not say more on that cause I don't know who's reading this. But, uh, if you wanna know, hit me up.
Also, my ex sent me an invitation to become friends on windows live? It was a little odd and out of no where (especially since he said he never wanted to talk to me again). But after about 10 minutes of thought, I accepted it. Hopefully we'll be friends. I don't want to be anything more. We did chat last night for like, 20 minutes or so. And to be honest, it seemed to go over really well and it felt natural. Maybe I'll get to see him next week when I go up to Washington? That'd be kind of cool actually.
I do have high hopes for this year. It needs to be good so life can pay me back for last year. As I may have complained earlier (forgot if I did or not...) life pretty much sucked last year. Until like October. Then it slowly made it's way back up. Now it's better than the normal and hopefully it will stay that way. :)

That leaves me to invite you to let me know how your year has been going so far and what you hope happens this year. Hopefully happy things and not for something to eat someone or someone to fall off a bridge. That's not so happy. Haha :)

Well, Imma go paint my nails now.

Much love,
Genevieve

Hey..... you.

Yes, you. I believe I've neglected you for a while. And as much as I hate to say it, I don't have time right now to write a lengthy post. But check back Tuesday! I'm booked tomorrow :P

They are purple.

This poem. I wrote it a while ago. Like end of March 2010 a while ago. Thought about it today. Thought I'd share it. Edited it a little. Huggles.

Think Before You Act

From the dim glow behind her
You see her ebony silhouette
Her hair tied high in the air
An image you can't forget

Inside her mind was a false past
Dripping in her salt crusted tears
Not satisfied with any part of herself
Wishing she could rewind time by the years

Her hands by her sides
Drenched in pain from her thoughts
She could learn no lessons from others
For her life could only be self-taught

She looked low toward the ground
Knowing the direction she had to go
She knew what she had to do
But she had to be willing to grow

She regrets all the lies
That she could never explain why she said them
She never really knew herself
And why she craved all the attention

She didn't know what to say anymore
She truly could not explain
Did they love her enough to understand?
Or would they only see what she became?

Many times she broke promises to herself
All saying the same thing
To never lie again
But the more it slipped without thinking

Although she tried not to
She had more lies to say
To cover the ones from before
More and more each day

To much she had taken
Beaten deep within her soul
Memories she couldn't erase
Time was taking it's toll

Her time here had ended
She knew it was too late
Now, the end had come
And she reached the pearly gate

So many things she had to confess
But too soon she slipped away
Now they were all there
It was long past due, she truly had to say

Before she could even start
There were tears streaming down her face
It was the hardest to say them now
Because her image she had disgraced

So much she had to say
But there was more to be heard
She didn't know where to begin
All the lies, so absurd

She chocked out all the words
Explaining the lie she was living
All of them frowned in disappointment
But unexpectedly, they were forgiving

For they explained themselves
That they had more sins to compare
She couldn't believe what she was hearing
Even these... they wouldn't dare

Worse things then one could imagine
The things the others said
They all should of said them earlier
Instead of having that moment to dread

We all make mistakes
And although you may think there is no repair
There is another way around
Don't live that moment of despair

Christmas was alright. I wasn't too excited. I was more excited about what I had gotten for my siblings. But come Tuesday, I will be headed on a train to my nephew's house in Elko. I'm more excited for that than Christmas. So I'd thought I'd do something today because I know I wont be able to get online Tuesday. Hope you all enjoyed the holidays and continue to do so. I'll probably have one more post before this long year is over. But if not; party hard, loves.

Apologies and second glances

I apologize that due to this post, I have now posted three days in a row. It's quite rude to say that I will try not to post as much and bore you with it's ordeals, but at least you're still here and don't hate me.
Good news! The fact that I actually go around and tell people about this almost non-existent thing, I have 5 followers....! I know, one of them is me as you can see, but I love my blog. It's beautiful. Well, I think it is. Judge me, or judge me not, I do what I will and you can't make me do or think otherwise. Ha! I indeed have control. Now deal your cards.

Now for the real reason that I have put up, as I die saying these words, a third post this week....
http://therandomramblingsofmm.blogspot.com/
That should speak for itself. Although, I will give a translation for those of you who don't speak Braille.
This is the blog of the amazing, humorous, and charming, Ms. MM. MM stands for awesome of course. Idiots. So, go check it out. Hopefully it will keep you amused as opposed to this boring, deadful, and deadly, post. Deadly? Deadly you ask? Well, because obviously, posts will spread my notarealinfectionitis. I know you knew that. It's common sense. Yet you continue to risk your life. And you accuse my false doings of calling you idiots? Well.... It just might be true. Actually, you know what? If someone else said this, I probably wouldn't have thought it the spreading notarealinfectionitis. I apologize. For a second time now. And a third for calling you idiots. My readers are not idiots. They are glorious for finding, FOLLOWING COUGH COUGH COUGH, and continuing their interest in a senseless blog like this. Congratulations. You're no longer square. For you are rectangular. Not a square rectangle, but an actual rectangle rectangle. Which all in all means you continue to read these practically senseless and pointless words. Yay for rectangles!! I'm the purple kind by the way. Just letting you all know. Idiots.

P.s. http://therandomramblingsofmm.blogspot.com/ Do it.

...Is This Real Enough?

Well, I have a few things to share. Not about life persay, but about my imagination and it's contents.
First off, I have a confession to make. Today I had a bloody nose. Yes, yes. It bled. And bled. And bled. And I'm infected with notarealinfectionitis. I know. It's scary and deadly. But in fact, while said nose was bleeding, it dripped onto page 191 of my English book as I was finishing up an assignment. I set the book down, pinched my nose, and ran across the hallway into my room to grab a kleenex or 5. It was honestly a long nose bleed. And also, as my nose bleeds always do, blood came from my mouth. During the whole adventure, at one point the blood from my mouth embarked onto my pale, slightly chapped lips. As I was about to wipe it off I had to stare in the mirror that I had been facing for a moment. I really was looking like a vampire, and not only that but it all looked like.... a twisted and haunting beauty. I went to cleanse my face and was still thinking about it's disgusting beauty from earlier wishing that I had gotten a picture of it. After my face had no sign of gore, I went back to my sitting place and stared at my English book as an idea was swirling in my head. I grabbed the Canon EOS digital rebel xti that was sitting on the computer desk from earlier along with the English book that was still open and went back into my room. Although, by the time I'd finished cleaning up, the blood on my English book had more or less stiffened to the point that if I tried to wipe it off, it would only rip the weak pages. I didn't have time to be disappointed about that. I didn't even think much about it. As I went into my room, I quickly painted the nails my right hand with a black coat of polish and created my idea. I dimmed the lights and went to work. Afterward, as horrific as it looked, I loved it. Here are my favorites or the results.

Remember how I said that I had a few things to share? Well, number 2. My blog title. I had three people specifically asked why I named this blog "Under the Mask". I thought it should have been self explanatory, but I guess not. You see, most people know me as someone I'm not. I have my secrets and hidden interests and numerous other things pertaining to the sort. This is mainly to let it out, and for you to view under my mask that hides my sorrows and the things pertaining to it. I mean, I'm not saying my smiles are fake, my laughter is a myth, or that my happiness is transparent, but as a human being, there's more pain then you may realize. There are a few fake smiles here and there. And I'm letting you know exactly what they might be. Even at that, I'm probably saying this all wrong. This is just showing what I want, my goals, what I want to accomplish, and the person who is truly hiding under a facade. This probably doesn't sound like my posts at all, but slowly but surly, I hope to open up.

Now, onto other things that do not pertain to my complex mind. Tonight is the YW Christmas party. I'm rather exited for it because they have been good to me in the past. We're exchanging white elephant gifts, eating food (hopefully. I like food and hope it's there), and enjoying each others company. For my white elephant gift, I have some Hello Kitty silly bandz, the album Thankful (Kelly Clarkson (You see, I used to like that sort of music, but not anymore and they're just sitting there.), a light blue sock (singular) with unicorns on it, and cherry (unopened of course) chap stick. I don't like cherry anyway and have plenty of other chap sticks. I'm excited to see what I am to get.

Unfortunately, the flight my mother was hoping to get on to come home was canceled. But she is on a flight now I believe and will hope to be home really early this morning according to what the weather does.

And now, I don't believe I have anything else that is currently on my mind to write down. So do your doings, click the follow button, leave love and comments, loves.

Oh, and if I don't get back to you, enjoy your Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/whatever else you may celebrate. Appreciate your gifts and blessing, eat mass consumptions of food, share warm feelings with family and friends, and try to stay warm. I hate it when my friends get hypothermia.
And remember, He is the reason for the season. :)
